Ruins of Santa Criz Roman city. Eslava city. Navarra. Spain. The Santa Criz archaeological site is one of the best preserved examples in Navarre and has been declared a Building of Cultural Interest. It is located near the town of Eslava in the mid-eastern zone of Navarre. Inside, remains can be seen of a Roman city that reached its full splendour during the 1st and 2nd centuries. The monumental nature and abundance of the remains found lead to the conclusion that it was once a great city.
