Slovenia, Lepena valley, Triglav National Park. The track to the Krnsko jezero lake comes down the impervious north walls of mount Krn and mount Batognica. There are several snowfields along the track, also in the summertime, they are the only water supply in that hig mountain karst environment that does not offer any water-spring. A sign indicating water snowfield (Slovenian voda). The demarcated territory by mounts Krn, Batognica and Peski is a vast, austere plateau, where paths are not traced so well.
