Proboscis well developed ; palpi uptnrned, hardly reaching vertex of head and clothed with long hair ; antennre of male bipectinate, with rather long branches ; tibias with the spurs moderate ; head, thorax, and abdomen clothed with long hair; the last with lateral tufts towards extremity. Fore wing rather broad; vein 3 from before angle of cell; 4, 5 from angle ; 6 from upper angle ; 7, 8, 9 stalked, 11 from cell. Hind wing with the cell long ; vein 2 fi'om long before angle; 3 from close to angle ; 5 from well above it. Sect. I. Fore wing with vein 10 stalked with 7, 8, 9. A.
