Typical Sugar Skull made by mexican candy manufacturers.

Typical Sugar Skull made by mexican candy manufacturers. They are used to decorate the homes and offerings of the altars during the festivities of the Day of the Dead on November 1st and 2nd. They are considered to be typical sweets from Mexico, and although not all are edible they are also made from chocolate, amaranth seeds and other ingredients. The green band on the forehead is used to place the name on someone alive or dead as they are also used as gifts or souvenirs.
