Moss Curled.—A compact growing, finely curled variety, of a bright, slightly yellowish-green color. Very handsome and attractive. Pkt. 5c, oz. 10c, lb. 75c. I/ong Rooted, or Hamburg.—The root, which resembles a small parsnip, is the edible portion of this variety, and is ex- tensively grown and used by Germans for flavoring soups, etc. Pkt. 5c, oz. ioc, lb. 75c. PARSNIP. German, Pastinake. The value of the Parsnip as a culinary vegetable is well known, but it is not generally appreciated at its full value for stock feed- ing. On favorable soil it yields an immense crop of roots, which are more nutritious than carrots or turnips, and particularly valu- able for dairy stock. Sugar or Hollow Crown.—Has a very smooth skin. A great cropper, tender, sugary, and considered the best Parsnip for general cultivation, either for the table or for stock. Pkt. 5c, oz. ioc, lb.
