The Fréjus Road Tunnel runs under the Col du Fréjus pass between Modane in Savoy (France) and Bardonecchia in the Piedmont region (Italy). 12 895 meters long, this cross-border road tunnel, open in 1980, connects France and Italy and links the A43 (RN 543, France) and A32 highways (Italy). Heavy truck transporting cars at the entrance to the Italian side of the tunnel.
