This image may not be used to state or imply ESA endorsement of any company or product Spacewalk on Soyuz MS-09 mission, December 2018. Russian cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev during the spacewalk of 11 December 2018. This took place during the Soyuz MS-09 mission, with the photograph taken by ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst. Both were part of the Expedition 56 crew of the International Space Station (ISS), with the space walk performed to examine and repair the Soyuz module while it was docked with the ISS. Prokopyev is using a Strela crane while carrying out the inspection.
