It may seem a good deal to say, but it is, nevertheless,a fact that for tenderness, brittleness and delicious quality this Lettuce grown in the open ground surpasses any othersoit grown under glass. Nothing can approach it in quality. It is so brittle and tender that its leaves break to piecesIn handling, if care is not used.
