General Pershing riding Lillian, an English mare, in the Paris Peace Parade on July 14, 1919. Lillian was paraded before the King and Queen of Belgium and Sir Douglas Haig during their visits to GHQ, AEF. She returned to the United States in September 1919 with Stables.
