A rare combination match and wheellock musket,German circa 1630. Two-stage barrel,octagonal becoming round,with a smooth bore in mm cilibre and iron sights. A hen(Suhl?)struck on the breech along with three additional marks. Combination wheel/matchlock,marked "CK" on the inside. Retouched beech wood stock(a few replacements in the region of the lock,trigger guard restored)with iron furniture. Wooden ramrod with a threaded iron tip. Length 151 cm.
