Another ScotchZamia (Fig. 136), which occurs in the Lower Oolite ofHelmsdale, resembles the Eathie one in the breadth of itsleaflets, but they are not wholly so rectilinear, diminishingslightly towards their base of attachment; they are ranged,too, along the stem or midrib, not at a right angle, but atan acute one; the line of attachment is not set awry, buton the general plane of the leaf; and the midrib itself isconsiderably less massive and round.
