Roughly halfway between Oxford and Abingdon, Kennington is a popular spot for dog walkers, joggers, cyclists and all sorts of outdoor pursuits. This part of the river is also popular - with geese as well as boats, it appears! As you can tell from their black necks, these guys are Canada Geese, Branta canadensis. You can frequently see them on or around the river at this time of year.
