There is a dome seen as a part of this structure, extending along the edge of the island. Some birds can also be seen in the sky. Fateh Sagar lake is one of the famous lakes in the city of lakes, Udaipur, located in the state of Rajasthan in India. The lake was constructed by the Maharana in 1678, and is one of the more famous lakes in Udaipur, along with Lake Pichola. The lake has 3 islands within it, with the largest island having a size of around 4 square km, called Nehru Park. This island has a popular garden and a restaurant. The lake gets full due to overflow of rain water from the surrounding hills with an overflow channel to take care of excess water. The lake is now used for drinking water, earlier having been used for irrigation. There are roads around the entire perimeter of the lake.
