Ar- riving in San Francisco recently, she took a position with the Art Floral Co., on Powell street, as decorator, but was only with that concern about two months when she left to get married, Mr. Keller- man coming from New York. Mrs. Kel- lerman has gone into business for her- self because, she says, she found she had been connected with the florists' trade so long she could not give up her work. Her establishment is nicely fitted up, and she is in a good location to cater to high-class trade. The Terminal Florist, as David Lich tenstein is known in the trade, is ex- pected back at work in a week or two. His wife reports him recuperating rap- idly from his recent operation for appen- dicitis. She has been busy with funeral work. I. N. Baldoechi, of Podcsta & Bal- docchi, reports business holding up fair- ly well for the Lenten season. C. C. & Co. have just issued their new dahlia catalogue, listing a wide assortment of decorative, peony- flowered, show, collarette, poni])on and single varieties. An offer of $ first prize and .^lO second prize is made by the company for the best display of dahlias at the September shows of the California Dahlia Growers' Association and the California Dahlia Society.
