High School.—This team did not enjoy a very suc-cessful season in 191L, having won only three of the nine games Vaughn carried off the honors at the bat and H. Memory in the field. Friends Central School, Philadelphia, Pa.—The star battery of the seasonwas: Carris. pitcher; Burpee, catcher. Carris also was leading batter with apercentage of .379. Iine was the best base stealer. The principal gameswere with Penn Charter, both of which Friends Central won, 6—2, 2—1. Mount Pleasant Academy, Ossining, N. Y.—This team lost only one gameduring the season of 1912, that being with the Philadelphia College of Phar-macy after eleven innings. Three men batted over the .300 mark.
