There is in the Museum of Comparative Zoology a very large series of the beetles of this species, or at least of this genus, collected by Mr. H E. Morse, at Lake Champlain. At the time of my visit to the museum they could not be found. Until this much-needed series can be carefully studied a revision of this genus is inadvisable.
