Interior of San Xavier del Bac Mission located on the Tohono Oodham Indian Reservation in the Santa Cruz Valley near Tucson, Arizona. Nicknamed "The White Dove of the Desert", the mission was founded in 1700 by noted Jesuit missionary and explorer Father Eusebio Francisco Kino.
