In landscape with arched gateway & buildings (L), trees & plants, a group of men & women with children gathered around a sun dial & flanked by cattle grazing; arched bridge in distance (R) (BRD) pole with garland spiral This tapestry is often seen as the left half of a larger composition, including a lady on a swing flanked by 2 men. It can be further extended to the right with the inclusion of a woman with children & animals. The tapestry was very likely reduced in width, probably from a width of 9'3" to 7'6". French & Co. may have wanted to fashion dimensions for a tapestry that would bring it in line with other panels of the same set, like GCPA: 0243110. The dimensions for the panel on the stock sheet were probably the ones before the alteration took place.
