No attempt was made to ascertain the amount of water employedfor irrigation on the lands along Steamboat Creek and in the WashoeValley, but it is certain that the average quantity per acre is materi-ally less than in other parts of the Truckee Basin. SUMMARY. From the foregoing it will be seen that the vested rights to thewaters of Truckee River are as follows: For power purposes, 300 cubicfeet per second at Floriston and Mystic during the period when theriver, unaided by storage, discharges that volume; and for irrigationpurposes below those points sufficient water to irrigate 27,493 acres ofland in the Reno Valley.
