Later information from Bocky Ford, Colo., regarding the crops injured by bail on Vke evening of May 27, indicates that the damage was fully as great as first reported. Nearly all crops, bow- ever, hare been replanted. J. C. Bob- inson eaya he feels that results will depend upon the character of the fall. Many keavy crops have been grown from aereage planted as late as these replant erops, and yet average results are not lo good as from the earlier planting. Mr. Bobinson adds that the Nebraska erops of his company are look- ing fine, with plenty of moisture and a good stand, and the prospect is as good as could be asked for. ADVItTKKATED SEED BEPOBT. The Department of Agriculture last week published its list of those from whom adulterated or misbranded seeds of Kentucky bluegrass and redtop had been procured in the open market in 1913, in accordance with the Act of Congress In carrying out the provisions of this act, 1,021 samples of the seeds men- tioned above were secured and analyses made under the direction of Edgar Brown, botanist in charge of the seed laboratory, bureau of plant industry, and publication is made of the analyses of the 127 samples found to be adul- terated or misbranded, together with the names of the seedsmen by whom they were sold or offered for sale. Of the 438 samples of Kentucky blue- grass seed obtained, fifteen, or less than four per cent, were found to be either adulterat
