Hercules constellation. Optical image of the centre of the northern constellation Hercules. North is at top. The stars are meant to represent a kneeling figure, whose body is depicted by the quadrilateral of stars from centre to lower right. It is a large and sprawling constellation without any very bright stars, and is best seen in Spring and Summer.
