Flower Hmong Indigenous People, Bac Ha school, Lao Cai, Vietnam.

Flower Hmong are named after the women’s colorful dresses whose patterns vary considerably from one region to another. The Flower Hmong (aka Flowery Hmong, Variegated Hmong, Red Hmong, Red Meo) are one of the most numerous of the various Hmong (H’mong, Meo, Miao) groups in Vietnam. They refer to themselves as Hmong Lenh and are called Hmong Hoa by the Vietnamese. They live mainly in the northern Lao Cai, Son La and Yen Bai Provinces of Vietnam.
