Goa, India. Saturday 12th November 2016. India's new 2000 rupee notes are in short supply. Canara bank in Goa was only allowing three per person and maximum withdrawal limit of 10,000 rupees ( about £120) per day as banks around the country ran out of cash. The government announced suddenly last week that all previous high denomination notes ( 500 and 1000) could not be accepted in retail shops and businesses. Credit: WansfordPhoto/Alamy Live News
