Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, Laos - August 04 2012: This special economic zone on the bank of the Mekong River is a 99-year lease made from the Laotian government to the Chinese-owned Kings Romans Group. The group obtain 10,000 hectares with 3,000 of those as a duty-free zone. The group built many casinos to attract wealthy Chinese (Gambling in forbidden in China).
