The Tavistock Mulberry Bush Day Unit is part of the Child and Family Department of the Tavistock Clinic. Is is situated 10 minutes walk away from the Tavistock Centre, at 33 Daleham Gardens, NW3 5BU. The Day Unit is a day placement for up to 18 primary school age children, who have complex and intense emotional and behavioural problems. This may affect their learning and academic performance. All children at the Day-Unit will have a Statement of Special Educational Needs. Referrals are made by the Local Education Authority, but are often funded jointly with Health and Social Services. The catchment area is all Inner and Outer London Boroughs.
