Can. 1886, p. 167-184, this graptolite appears, with Obolella preciosa^ etc., in red and black shales {Cambrian) under Levis (Ordovician) shales. Phyllopteris antiqua, Dawson. Acadian Geology, 1868, p. 446, fig. 166 E, a magniiied portion of pinnule to show the nervation; El, two pinnules of natural size. Midrib well de- fined.
