The handle, which is re-markably broad, and grooved, terminates in a pseudo-spiral, which runs down the bowl of the vessel towithin an inch and a half of the bottom. The frontof the bowl, opposite to the handle, is ornamented witha finely-moulded medallion, which projects half aninch, is 4J inches in circumference, and represents afemale head.
