Stag Beetle Loggery. These three loggeries provide breeding habitats for Stag Beetles. Stag Beetles are the largest native ground-living beetle. The larvae feed on dead wood for several years whilst they develop into adults. The adults are short-lived and die soon after mating. (Coolings website, 2010)
