Smith, Esq., of Smith-town. They have five children : Richard Lawrence, Mary Hopeton,Ethelbert Marshall, Sarah Lawrence and Carteret Lawrence Smith. Joseph Lawrence, eldest son of William and Elizabeth Lawrence,married in 1690 Mary, daughter of Col.
