Knepp castle remains at Shipley off the 264 by pass to worthing. Built in 1125 by Robert de Harcourt le Fort (the strong) as a defensive castle.


Knepp castle remains seen from the dial post area 264 by pass and free to visit and walk around remains and grounds. The tiny figure used for scale in the lower part of the remains is me so if I need a release form I will fill one in.
