Montreal based acdf* Architecture set out to challenge the traditional "big shed" approach to civic sports centres in Canada with this newly completed Aquatic Centre at St Hyacinthe, near Montreal in Quebec. The building has a number of innovations, including a beautiful floating folded roof.
