Anterior half of the head slightly shining, fairly strongly and longitudinally striate, the spaces between the striae on the cheeks reticulate-rugulose ; the posterior half of the bead smooth and shining, very finely and sparsely punctured. The sides of the occipitofrontal sulcus longitudinally striate. Mandibles smooth, shining, sparsely punctured. Thorax fairly shining, finely and irregularly striate trans- versely above, obliquely at the sides, and also more or less rugulose at.
