Sandsend, UK. 4th May, 2017. Paraffin was again visible all along the beach at Sandsend as the tide retreated at lunchtime on Thursday 4 May. The blocks of wax are littered all along the shoreline, with small pellets interspersed with much larger blocks. The waxy substance first appeared on 3 May but the source is currently unknown.
