Apollo Soyuz Test Project US crew. Portrait of US astronauts Thomas Stafford (born 1930, left), Vance Brand (born 1931, centre) and Donald Slayton (1924-1993, right) in front of their Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) spacecraft during rollout ceremonies at Kennedy Space Center, USA, on 25th March 1975. This 224-foot-tall Saturn IB rocket was launched with the ASTP team onboard on 15th July 1975. During the mission the US Apollo spacecraft rendezvoused and docked with a Soviet Soyuz spacecraft. It was the first international manned space-flight.
