Nostalgic sign for Spratt's Doggy biscuits, Bewdley Railway Station.

During the last sixty years the Severn Valley railway has evolved from being a little known railway to very noteworthy British railway preservation. The original line was closed under the “Beeching Axe” in 1963, however services now operate between Kidderminster in Worcestershire and Bridgenorth in Shropshire for the benefit of tourists and railway enthusiasts alike. A distance of 16 miles. Situated on the edge of the Wyre Forest, Bewdley is four miles to the west of Kidderminster, in Worcestershire, UK. Bewdley Station is one of the prettiest stations along the route with an amazing amount of nostalgic memorabilia. The railway staff wear the uniforms in keeping with the "old world " charm of this beautifully kept railway station.
