(Moss Rose.)Moss roses are distinguished from all others by the moss-like substance which surrounds the flowers, and a peculiar scentwhich is not easy to describe on paper. Nearly every onewants two or three of these in a collection for the flowers aremuch sought after while in bud for boquets. PrincessAdelaide is one of the best in this color and is beautiful eitherin bud or fully expanded flower. Prune rather closely andremove all weakly shoots and give high culture.
