Netted stinkhorn fungus (Phallus duplicatus). The tip of the fungus exudes a glutinous gleba (spore mass). This has a distinctive foul smell which mimics carrion, attracting flies to land on the end piece. They suck up some of the gleba then fly away, dispersing the spores through their excrement.
