A pair of German long percussion pistols, circa 1740. Round and smooth Damascus barrels in 14 mm calibre with midribs and each with a silver 'spider' front sight. Converted, smooth percussion locks. Carved walnut stocks with horn noses (both slightly damaged). Brass furnitures with ornaments in relief and openwork side plates, the pommel caps and the trigger guards with portrait busts. Original wooden ramrods with horn tips.
