Proboscis fully developed ; palpi obliquely upturned and not, reaching vertex of bead ; antennse bipectinate, with moderate branches dilated at extremity ; tibise with the spurs short; abdomen with lateral tubercles on 1st segment. Fore wing rather narrow ; vein 3 from well before angle of cell; 4. 5 from angle; 6 from upper angle; 7, 8, 9, 10 stalked; 11 from cell. Male with a slight streak of androconia below medial part of costa on underside. Hind wing with vein 2 from close to angle of cell; 4 absent; 5 from above angle; 7 from before angle in male, from angle in female; male with the costa highly arched, covering a tuft of hair on inner margin of fore wing on underside.
