Most Worshipful Sir and Brethren-: Having now made the last of my official visitsof inspection to the lodges in Toronto West Dis-trict No. 11, I may consider practically completeda vear, which, while probably the most strenuous ofmy life, would at the same time, but for the thickcloud of national depression which has been over-hanging since the beginning of August last, haveproven the happiest. As it is, our pleasures havenecessarily felt the restraint of our national trialsand much sorrow has mingled with our joys. Wehave all friends and acquaintances at the front,large numbers of them members of our Masonicorder, for whom we have felt a natural anxiety,and now that
