Recruits of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, execute side crunches with logs during a physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 23. Each exercise helped recruits develop cardiovascular endurance and prepare for future physical endeavors. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate April 29.
