ETUSZ MELON, Burpee's Netted Gem. This new melon, which we now offer for the first time, has been thoroughly tested, and is considered by New Tersey growers who have tried it as a most valuable acquisition. The illustration, engraved from one of the melons, shows their shape, which is al- most a perfect globe. They grow rejnarkably uniform in sha^e and size, weighing from to xYx pounds each. They are thick meated, the flesh is light- green in color and uniformly of fi7ie, luscious flavor; skin green, regularly ribbed and thickly netted. The past season they brought 35 cents per basket, wholesale, when Jenny Linds were selling for 15 and 20 cents.
