Bixler assigned to the 628th Aviation Support Battalion, 28th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, 28th Infantry Division, drives a light medium tactical vehicle during a summer flood in central Pennsylvania July 25. Bixler’s unit falls under Task Force Support during state active duty missions. He and his team assisted the Middle Paxton Fire Company with the rescue of a stranded resident from their home to the fire house.
