The main thoroughfare, is Freta Nowomiejska with St. Jacek's Church and the Church of The Holy Spirit in Warsaw Old Town in Warsaw, Poland. 85 % of the old town was destroyed in the war, much of it during the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944. The local authorities relied on 17th-century paintings of Italian landscape artist, Bernardo Belloto and pre-war architecture students' drawings to rebuild the Old Town, now on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
