This photograph shows the milky way galaxy arcing over the northern horizon at Dunstanburgh Castle in Northumberland, UK. I always enjoy a midnight walk up at the castle, it’s very atmospheric up there and the dark skies mean that on a clear night you can get a nice view of the milky way.
