Tlie supply in all seasonable bulbous slook was large last week, and the mar- ket had an oversupply of jonquils, tulips, Paper Whites, freesias, etc. The demand for valley and orchids was not 80 good as usual. Other stock, such as calendulas, daisies, callas, Kaster lilies, stevia and mignonette, had only a fair demand. The supply of greens was heavy and long asparagus, smilax and adiantum had excellent calls all last week. Florists' Club Meets. The inontlily meeting of the St. Louis Florists' Club was held Thursday after- nodu, Fobfuary 9, in the salesroom of the Windier Wholesale Floral Co. There were fifty members present when Presi- dent IJowe called the meeting to order. After the close of routine procedure, Heiinan Von Schrenk, of the Garden ('lull of St. Louis, adilressed the mem- bers in regard to tlie spring flower show, to bi; held at the Missouri Botanical (;ar<len May 20 and 21, and urged all tliose present to lend a helping hand for it« success.
