STRAIT OF MALACCA (Oct. 6, 2012) An MH-60S Knighthawk from the Eightballers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8 returns to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis after rescuing a Malaysian man overboard while transiting the Straits of Malacca. John C. Stennis is returning to 7th and 5th Fleet areas of responsibility four months ahead of schedule in order to maintain combatant commander requirements and Navy assets in the region.
