1891 Peavey Drinking Fountain for horses along Wíta Tópa (Lake of the Isles) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The fountain was later rededicated as memorial to the war horses of the 151 first field artillery of Minnesota National Guard killed in action during the First World War 1917-1918. The monument was given to the city of Minneapolis by F. H. Peavey. In 1874 Frank Hutchinson Peavey opened Peavey Grain in Minneapolis MN. Frank invented the grain elevator we still see used today. Privately owning and operating 70% of grain elevators in the world, the company went public in 1973 and then became ConAgra Inc.
