A Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft inflight refueling specialist, assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, and a maintainer from the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group work though a pre-flight checklist prior to an operation supporting Operation Freedom’s Sentinel at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, Aug. 6, 2021. The 340th EARS, deployed with Air Forces Central, is responsible for delivering fuel to and partner nations, enabling airpower, deterrence, and stability in the region.
