The Caterpillar is both beautiful and Angular:it feeds on the oak, on which it is met with, from the latter end ofJuly till the middle of September, at which time it is of its full fize,and becomes a pupa ; it fpins a web between the leaves, and remainsin the chryfalis about thirty days.
